All technology orders are received and distributed here. This team also provides central technology support during summer months.
LISD believes in the meaningful use of technology and ensuring that students develop the skills necessary to be future ready. This team wears many hats including supporting the implementation of the Technology Application TEKS at all grade levels, overseeing the framework and integration of the district LMS - Canvas, assisting with Digital Citizenship and resources pertaining to student data privacy when using digital resources.
Network, Infrastructure, and Cyber Security
This team provides support and system administration for all servers, storage, filtering, wired and wireless network access, phone systems, and classroom audio/visual systems.
This team provides end user support. This includes providing campus technicians, a centralized Help Desk, centralized software deployment, and computer hardware repair.
Technical Information Services
This team provides support and system administration for the District’s enterprise systems (e.g. Skyward, MUNIS, Frontline, Kronos, etc.), database administration, system integration, custom software development, state/federal reporting, and records management.
