The purpose of the LISD District Advisory Council (DAC) is to advise the Superintendent and Board on district educational plans, goals, student performance, and major classroom instructional programs. The mission of the DAC is to inspire excellence in education for all LISD students. LISD leadership consults regularly with the committee regarding matters pertaining to curriculum, new programs and initiatives, and progress toward achieving educational goals.
