  • Student Leadership ExperienceLewisville ISD’s mission is to engage and inspire learners and leaders. The LISD Board of Trustees is committed to cultivating experiences that serve this mission and fulfill the vision of graduates who exhibit the confidence and skills to thrive and adapt to their future.

    The Board invites LISD 10th grade students who are interested in developing their leadership during their junior/senior year to apply to participate in the inaugural Student Leadership Experience for 2024-25.

    All eligible students must APPLY HERE by May 31, 2024.

    Program Goals:

    • Develop leadership potential through leadership seminars and community service
    • Inspire a legacy of leadership and service
    • Build partnerships and connections in the community through advocacy

    • Curiosity - Spark wonder and critical thinking through real world experiences to ignite innovation
    • Leadership - Embody the spirit of initiative and influence to inspire others through actions to champion change
    • Service - Meet the needs of others through selfless giving of one’s time and talents to sculpt a better community 
    • Community - Foster a connected culture and togetherness through empathy and experiences to unite with one vision
