2024-25 discovery academy WAITING LIST APPLICATION

At this time, all 2024-25 Discovery Academy classes are full.

Families may submit a waiting list DA application by clicking the gold button above.

You will be contacted by the Early Childhood Programs department if/when your child's application is selected from the waiting list for a spot in DA.

The 2024-25 Discovery Academy application began accepting applications January 5, 2024, and closed February 12, 2024, at 5 PM. All applicants were notified of their selection status via email on February 16, 2024, by 5 PM.

The LISD Discovery Academy is an exclusive, tuition-based pre-kindergarten program for families in Lewisville ISD offering full-day Pre-K with extended before and after school hours (6:50 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.) and an extended calendar of days taught by a certified teacher and paraprofessional. Discovery Academy is located at

• Hebron Valley Elementary School
• Heritage Elementary School
• Liberty Elementary School
• Valley Ridge STEM Academy

Students must be 3 or 4 years old on/before September 1 of the enrolling school year and fully potty-trained to participate in Discovery Academy. 

An application must be submitted to be selected for a Discovery Academy class. The application opens annually in January and families are notified of selection in mid-February. The waiting list application is lined at the top if this website.
