Members

Membership in the DAC is intended to represent the numerous and diverse stakeholders that make up the LISD community. In compliance with Education Code 11.251, membership is composed of campus-based professional staff, district-level professional staff, parents, businesses, and the community.

Twelve members of the committee are nominated and elected by LISD staff, including 8 classroom teacher positions. Additional positions are selected from interested parents, community members and business representatives. Representation across feeder patterns, grade levels, and content areas will be considered in the selection process.
