NEWCOMER IMMIGRANT SUMMER ACADEMY (NISA)

Lewisville ISD's Newcomer Immigrant Summer Academy (NISA) is a project-based summer enrichment program offered to all elementary immigrant students currently in grades 1st through 5th.

We focus on growing language proficiency in all four language domains: listening, speaking, reading and writing with culturally relevant teaching practices and engaging hands-on learning experiences. Breakfast and lunch are provided for all participants. Transportation services are provided for most feeder patterns.
