ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

Lewisville ISD schools are widely recognized among the best in the state and in the nation, far outpacing both Texas and national averages in SAT, ACT and Advanced Placement scores. Additionally, our students earned multiple medals in the most recent State Academic Decathlon and Fine Arts competitions, and 64 students were named National Merit Finalists for meeting the highest academic standards.

ATHLETIC & FINE ARTS PERFORMANCE

It would be hard to match the extra-curricular successes of Lewisville ISD. In recent years we’ve won state championships in volleyball, track and field, and wrestling, and performed deep into the playoffs in football, basketball, soccer, baseball, tennis and swimming. We've also won state championships for our band and one act play performances. We coach our athletes and artists to perform with the honor and integrity our community expects.

FINANCIAL INTEGRITY

Our commitment to protecting the bottom line has earned our district a superior rating – the highest accolade possible – by the Texas Education Agency Financial Integrity Rating System (FIRST) for our exceptional management of tax dollars. We take our obligation to the public’s finances seriously, so it’s no surprise the Lewisville ISD property tax rate is lower today than it was in 2006 despite our student population growing by almost 13%.
