STAARThe STAAR program encompasses STAAR, STAAR Spanish, and STAAR Alternate 2. STAAR focuses on increasing postsecondary readiness of graduating high school students and helps to ensure that Texas students are competitive with other students both nationally and internationally.

STAAR grades 3–8 includes assessments of writing, reading, mathematics, science, and social studies. STAAR EOC assessments are available for Algebra I, Biology, English I, English II, and U.S. History.

STAAR Spanish is available in grades 3–5 for each subject area assessed when Spanish provides the most appropriate measure of academic achievement.

Please see your home campus website or contact your home campus testing coordinator for specific schedules.Please note: The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has not developed the STAAR EOC exams to be administered at home. This requires Virtual/Virtual Plus students to come to their home campus to take the December 2020 STAAR exam(s). Lewisville ISD will practice all safety protocols to protect our students and staff.Looking for STAAR results?To access your child's results, you will need to log into the Texas Assessment Management System with a unique access code and your child's date of birth at www.texasassessment.com/.

TELPAS/TELPAS ALT
The Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS) is designed to assess the progress that limited English proficient (LEP) students make in learning the English language. TELPAS measures English language proficiency in the following domains:- Grades K-1 reading, listening, speaking, and writing.
- Grades 2–12 writing
- Grades 2-12 reading, listening, and speaking assessed online
