A Glossary for High School Campus Profiles

  • In an effort to provide the community with additional information regarding our campuses, Lewisville ISD created a Campus Profile for each campus in our district. The Campus Profile includes information on staff professional learning, awards, community service projects, parent survey results, and much more.  Please see descriptions for each section of the Campus Profile below. 

    Student Information

    Enrollment count is calculated with data from the previous school year utilizing methodology determined by the Texas Education Agency for reporting in the Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR).

    Attendance information can be located on the Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) provided by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).

    Graduation Rate

    The percentage of graduates was based on data supplied by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) in the Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR).  For more information please reference the TAPR glossary located at the following link:

    Staff Information

    Staff count is calculated with data from the previous school year utilizing methodology determined by the Texas Education Agency for reporting in the Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR). 

    Years of experience values indicate the average number of years teachers at that campus have taught in total (including other districts) and average number of years teachers have taught in Lewisville ISD. 

    Professional Learning

    LISD records professional learning hours in a local program.  The campus profile utilized professional learning experience recorded between June and May.

    Classroom observation data was aggregated from both campus and district tools.  Data represents the count from August through May.

    Academic Performance

    SAT scores - Data Source: College Bound Senior Report provided by the College Board.

    ACT scores - Data Source: ACT Graduating Class report provided by ACT.

    Advanced Course Participation - LISD offers a variety of advanced courses. Values in this section represent the percent of students who completed at least one Pre-AP, AP or Dual credit course in the previous school year.

    Clubs

    Each of the campuses in LISD offers a variety of opportunities for students to extend their learning through participation in clubs.  Clubs meet regularly throughout a school year.  The data included represents a small sample of clubs available at a campus in the previous school year.  Please contact your campus for a complete list of clubs available this school year.

    Programs

    Each of the campuses in LISD offers a variety of opportunities for students to extend their learning through participation in special programs. A program targets a specific need and meets for a limited time to attain a goal.  The data included represents availability for the previous school year. Please contact your campus for a list of program opportunities available this school year.

    What Do Our Parents Think?

    Each Spring, LISD conducts a parent survey to provide parents with an opportunity to express their opinions. Data included in the campus profile represents the percentage of positive responses for each question.

    PE/Athletics Participation

    LISD offers a variety of PE and Athletic courses.  Data represents participation during the previous school year.

    Fine Arts Participation

    LISD offers a variety of Fine Arts courses.  Data represents participation during the previous school year.  Courses include band, choir, theater, etc.

    Senior Survey  

    Each Spring, LISD conducts a survey of students who are Seniors to provide them with an opportunity to express their opinions on their experiences in LISD as well as future plans.  In the Spring of 2019, LISD administered the Senior survey for the first time.

    Awards and Recognitions

    Campuses may receive awards and recognitions from various organizations/partners throughout the school year.
