Stewart's Creek was opened in 1978, when Leo Stuver was superintendent of schools in LISD. The campus mascot was a bronco and was open from 1978-2021. Students who previously attended Stewart's Creek were rezoned to Morningside Elementary. It was sold to the city of The Colony and is currently in use by them. ______ was the campus’s first principal, and Andrea Smith was the principal when the decision was made to retire the campus. Kevin Rogers was superintendent of schools at that time.
