About Me: 

I was raised to be a Fighting Farmer. I attended College Street Elementary, Milliken Middle School, and graduated from Lewisville High School in 1997. The love and support I received from my teachers throughout LISD encouraged me to attain a degree in education from the University of North Texas in 2002. I started my career in LISD opening Durham Middle School as an 8th and 6th grade mathematics teacher, then moved to open Lewisville High School Killough campus in 2005. I worked at LHSK teaching Algebra A/B, regular Algebra and coaching cheerleading, until I moved to open Lewisville High School Harmon campus in 2011 teaching the same courses and sponsoring Student Council. In 2015, I made a move to Lewisville High School Main campus, where I have taught Math Models Applications and currently teach Algebra 2.  I love this school and volunteer at a lot of after school events.

I married Derek (we met and dated in high school) in June of 2004, we have a daughter, Reagan, and a son, Ryan. Derek works for a logistics company in Grapevine, our daughter is on a local high school drill team, and our son is a middle school gamer and plays golf. The kids keep us busy, but we wouldn't have it any other way. When we finally find a break, we enjoy traveling in our RV camper.

I am always excited to meet and learn about new students! It is my hearts desire that all students in my classroom feel loved and safe. I hope that your child truly feels that when attending my class and they grasp a deeper understanding of mathematics.

I am ready to have a FANTASTIC FIGHTING FARMER year!!
