You can earn state credits for Student Leadership and PALS I and II. Colleges and businesses love to see a leadership class on your transcript. Our members and class members can earn points for helping us with community service activities such as park Clean-Ups and Adopt an Angel. We also do mentoring with the feeder elementary and middle schools. You can participate in a variety of committees including Pride and Patriotism, D.A.S.H. (Drugs, Alcohol, Safety, and Health), Energy and Environment, and Educational Projects and Activities. If you earn at least 500 points by the end of your senior year, you are eligible for a cord and a stole for graduation! We would love to have you be a part of our class and organization!
Every student is invited to attend our meetings. We have two meetings a week during block lunch, so you can select one. WEDNESDAYS DURING A BLOCK AND THURSDAYS DURING B BLOCK The activities room is Room G144, so stop in and give us suggestions or just say hello! WE WELCOME ALL LHS STUDENTS!At the end of the year, we have a banquet and each person is recognized for their points. Seniors with enough points will receive an honor stole for graduation and a transcript seal. Student Council serves our school and community! Get involved and take part in the busiest group in school! We welcome your ideas! Advisors are Mrs. Stamey, Mr. Moser, and Mrs. Lindamood.Student Council offers three leadership classes for our members to take. In these classes, we mentor the youth in our feeder zone, plan school and community events, and much more.
