I am so excited to be back at my alma mater!  At 18, I walked out of this school a graduate (Class of '86)! At 28, I walked back in as a teacher.  I thought it would be my full journey as an educator to start and retire at Lewisville High School, giving back to my community for all it has done for me.  However, my journey took a few turns. 

In 2007, my family moved to Anchorage, Alaska where my husband was a Biologist for the Army Corps of Engineers.  I had an amazing adventure and loved the snow, the wildlife, and my East High School students (Go T-Birds!).  In 2014, we decided to move back to Lewisville to be closer to our families and I worked at DeLay Middle School until 2020.  I came full circle in 2020,  back home to LHS and teaching the future leaders of our community and the world.

I have three amazing children (Corey, Forrest, and Lexie) and the cutest grandbabies the world has ever seen (Nathan and Leilani)!  I love spending time with my family and I am blessed to work with great young people everyday!   

I am the Junior Sponsor and Student Council Advisor.  I also teach CharacterStrong's Servant Leadership curriculum in the Student Leadership Class.  I am beyond blessed to be able to help my community and love kids each day.
