Dr. May has been teaching English for 15 years. She began her career in Maryland and then moved to Texas, where she began teaching at LISD. She loves helping students learn and think. She is a mother of five children who live all over the country. She enjoys gardening, design, graphic art, sewing, spending time with family, and spending time with her dog Lucy. You can find Dr. May on a beach somewhere during the summer months. Her all-time-favorite book is Jane Eyre by Chorlotte Bronte although she enjoys reading all kinds of things.
