About Me:

I wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself.  This is my 14th year to teach math in LISD.  This will be my 6th year at Lewisville High School.  I am proud to be part of this amazing campus which has so many traditions and such school spirit.  Trust me when I tell you Farmer Pride is real!  I began teaching at The Colony High School and have taught Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Statistics, Math Models with Application and Foundations of College Math (College Prep Math).  I think that Algebra 2 and Statistics are my favorites!  Algebra 2 is where all of the pieces come together.  Statistics is a new way to look at math and see how different ways math is used.  I am originally from Sweetwater, Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a Major in Applied Mathematics.  I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  My husband’s name is Lynn and we have two children, Josh and Jordan.   Both children graduated from Lewisville High School, Josh in 2018 and Jordan in 2020.  Jordan is currently attending Louisiana Tech University, studying Economics. Josh is taking a year off due to online learning, but plans to return to college next year to studying Marketing.  Both were members of the LHS Band and Drumline.  Lynn and I were part of the LHS Band/Drumline pit crew for 6 years.

I would like to thank the parents and guardians for allowing me the opportunity to have your child in my class.  It is a privilege and honor to have each student.
