    Free services include unlimited, confidential (24/7) online/phone support and 3 in-person visits with a Licensed Professional Counselor. Your counselor may refer you to resources for ongoing support.

    If you are an employee,18 years of age and work at least 15 hours per week (not in a temporary position), services are available to you, your spouse, dependent children, parents and parents-in-law. You may call the Benefits Office for confirmation of eligibility.

    • Free services are offered to all employees (spouses and dependents) regardless of enrollment.
    • 24/7 unlimited confidential online/phone expert support.
    • Three in-person or virtual visits with a Licensed Professional Counselor. Your counselor may refer you to resources for ongoing support.  
    • All users will need to register online with their personal email address and use the Web ID: NYLGBS to register.

    Bereavement/Grief Hotline – It is a Survival Support Line for employees that specializes only in bereavement/grief. It is available Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern time only. Employees can call (888) 842-4462 ext. 101338

    Please Note

    *You have 30 calendar days, including your date of hire to enroll in your benefits.  Please research your options carefully before you enroll.

     

    *It may take about 2 weeks after your new hire meeting before you are uploaded into the system.

     

    * The system defaults to all benefits beginning the 1st of the month following your first day of work. You may elect to have medical only beginning your first day of work however please contact the Benefits Office prior to enrollment so we can reset your account.
