Student Accident Insurance

  • Voluntary Accident Insurance - premium is paid by the parent/legal guardian.  Covered injuries paid for per schedule of benefits up to a maximum of $25,000.  For more information click on the link in left menu bar.

    Catastrophic and Disability Insurance - premium is paid by the District for all interscholastic athletes, cheerleaders, band members, majorettes, intramural sports participants, gym class participants, student coaches, student managers, student trainers and student participants of school sponsored non-sport extracurricular activities.  This plan is designed to cover K-12 student related catastrophic injury costs which exceed the limits of other insurance plans.  This coverage has a $25,000 deductible to be met before covered benefits are paid per the schedule found in the link in the left menu bar.  

    UIL Athletics/Activities Insurance – premium is paid by the District for students involved in UIL Athletics/Activities including cheerleading (Cheerleading Summer Camps included), band, drill team, vocational classes, ROTC, FFA and 4-H.  Students on Day Field Trips PK - 12 are also included.  Benefits will be paid only for such expense which is not recoverable from any other insurance policy.  Covered benefits are paid per the schedule found in the link on the left menu bar.
