Amy is not a native Texan! She started her career on the East Coast, just outside of Washington D.C. She relocated to Texas in 2019 as part of her husband’s military career.

For the entirety of her career, Amy has taught English to juniors and seniors.  

Amy holds a Master’s Degree in Education from George Mason University in Virginia. Her Bachelor’s Degree is in English from Christopher Newport University also in Virginia.

When she is not teaching, she spends time with her husband and their two spoiled dogs. Amy is an avid reader, Lego builder, and movie watcher. Ask her about her love of Harry Potter, 80s music, true crime podcasts, and video games.
