Virtual Learning Academy Courses

Virtual Learning Academy courses are locally developed and are taught by highly qualified Lewisville ISD online teachers. All courses meet the state's high standards for teaching and learning and are aligned to the goals of Strategic Design.  Additionally, VLA courses meet the quality standards established by the International Association for K-12 Online Learning (iNACOL) and Section 508 Accessibility standards for students with disabilities.

The Texas Virtual School Network is a clearinghouse of rigorous online courses offered by approved providers. Lewisville ISD is one of many TXVSN providers across the state offering courses through the TXVSN catalog. All courses are TEA-approved and meet the state's high standards for teaching and learning.
