Noel Figueredo

Mrs. Noel Figueredo is the newest Virtual Learning English teacher at LISD’s Virtual Learning Academy. She has been teaching in the Lewisville Independent School District for ten years. She started with LISD in 2011 at Lewisville High School Killough as a teacher of English Language Arts and Reading and continued teaching English at Lewisville High School Harmon. After four years of teaching various levels of English, Mrs. Figueredo moved into the AVID Coordinator position at LHS Harmon, teaching the ninth and tenth grade AVID elective for six years. In her teaching experience, she has earned several LEF teacher and campus grants, been nominated numerous times for teacher of the year, and designed and led various professional learning opportunities.

Mrs. Figueredo is a product of the Lewisville Independent School District having graduated from Edward S. Marcus High School in 2005. She then attended the University of North Texas earning her Bachelor’s degree of English Literature in 2009 and her Master’s degree in Secondary Education in 2011. Mrs. Figueredo completed her Virtual Learning Certificate in 2020 and decided to move her talents to LISD’s Virtual Learning Academy.

Mrs. Figueredo is excited to help further develop the student experience in virtual learning. She currently resides in Flower Mound Texas with her husband, James Figueredo, their daughter, Sophia, and their dog, Lilo.
