Degrees and Certifications:

Nicole Griffin

Nicole Griffin, a graduate of Texas Wesleyan University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a secondary education certification, has been a part of the LISD family since 2015. She began her career at Lakeview Middle School, teaching Spanish as a second language and a Pre-AP for Spanish speakers program that allowed students to foster their bilingual skills and gain university credits. In 2020, Nicole eagerly took on the opportunity to help create and teach a virtual Spanish program for LISD’s Virtual Learning Academy.

Nicole is originally from the island of Puerto Rico and comes from a family of passionate educators covering all grade levels, from elementary to higher education. Apart from teaching Spanish, Nicole’s greatest goal and joy are teaching students to develop global views, be confident in who they are, and unlock their full potential. She wholeheartedly believes that education is her life’s calling.

Nicole enjoys spending time exploring the outdoors with her husband, son, and 85 lb. lap dog when she’s not teaching.
