Kay Gustafson has taught for 22 years.  She taught Deaf and Hard of Hearing students at the middle school level in Mesquite for 17 years and has taught ASL at Lewisville High School since 2013.  She joined the VLA curriculum writing team in 2016 and as an adjunct teacher in 2017. 

Kay has 3 children.  Kristen is a junior at Sam Houston State University majoring in Sociology with a double minor in Legal Studies and Human Services.  Noah is a junior at Lewisville High School and is involved with NJROTC.  Levi is a freshman at Lewisville High School and is a percussionist in the band.

Interests:  Spending time with family, swimming, running/walking 5K’s, pickleball, reading and watching Sports (especially the Dallas Cowboys!)
