Hello!  My name is Ms. Jeanne Prestjohn.  I teach 6th grade Math BA and 6th grade SDI math and ELAR.  I graduated from The University of North Texas earning a Bachelor's in Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance and Accounting.  I LOVE math!  I learned that I had a passion for working with students who struggled with math concepts when I was a substitute for LISD.  In an effort to sync my life with my young kids and contribute to providing for the family, I tried substituting in my kids' schools.  It took only one month to be convinced that my purpose was to serve kids in the classroom.  So, here I am 29 years later; and, I still love helping kids master math!  I am a mother of 3 girls with families of their own.  I am blessed with 6 grandkids (3 boys and 3 girls) and 4 granddogs (all dachshunds).   Spending time with my girls and their kids (human and canine) is the highlight of my life.  Besides that, I enjoy reading, music, and crafting.
