The Science department strives to provide excellent science education for all students. We currently offer courses in Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Science. A variety of course offerings and combinations are offered and are published in Course Handbook.
Students are encouraged to choose courses that match their interests, abilities, and goals. Some courses are instructed at a higher level, which require science and/or mathematics prerequisites. All science courses are lab-based. Grades are assigned for all laboratory work and notebooks, homework assignments, projects, in-class work and participation, as well as extra credit activities.
