Teaching is in my blood. I come from a family of educators who instilled in me a love of learning. After completing my undergraduate degree at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, I obtained a teaching credential and began my diverse teaching career in California. During my time as an educator, I have taught a variety of subjects to a wide array of learners, ranging from elementary to middle school. However, the one thing that has remained constant in my career is my love for teaching middle school students.

I have been teaching math in LISD since 2008 and started my career at Arbor Creek in 2020. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two daughters and our two adorable Yorkshire Terriers.

As you may have noticed, I have a long hyphenated last name (Blumfield-Temshiv). Not to fear, everyone refers to me as Mrs. Temshiv.
