Mrs. Amy Obenhaus
Dear Arbor Creek Middle School Families,
My name is Amy Obenhaus, and it is with great excitement that I write this letter as the newly appointed principal of Arbor Creek Middle School. I am honored to be given this opportunity and couldn’t be more thrilled to join the Eagle family! I look forward to carrying on the school’s tradition of excellence while also exploring new ways to ensure we meet the needs of all students.
I have been a part of Lewisville ISD since 2004, and I recently celebrated my 15th year of service with the district. Prior to accepting the offer to serve as the new principal of Arbor Creek, I was an assistant principal at Hebron High School for six years. I also taught seventh grade English/Language Arts at Durham Middle School and Killian Middle School for nine years. I’m a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. I also have a Master of Education in Administration from Lamar University.
On the personal side, I was born and raised in Carrollton. I actually still reside in the area with my husband and two children, who attend LISD schools.
