Ms. Esely-Black
I am happy to announce that after teaching Math and serving as the Math Department Chair, LISD Curriculum Writer, Testing Coordinator, Data Coach and Teacher of the Year in the past, I will be teaching Language Arts for another year. I love this change and while I miss math, I have an even greater passion for teaching ELA. Language Arts was my originial certification, and when I served as a Data Coach for LISD, I had the opportunity to explore and work with the ELAR curriculum. I am excited for the 2022-2023 school year.
I am almost, kind of an "empty-nester". I have two sons that went through ACMS. One graduated from Hebron this past year and will be attending school in Florida. My oldest son graduated from the University of Arizona and is back in Dallas working for an accounting firm. I also have a house full of three dogs and one cat. While I love each and every one of them...let's just say I was coerced into taking them all in...sigh!
Imagine it all, Believe it all and Achieve it all!
