Welcome to Mrs. Mallard’s 3rd grade classroom! I am so excited to be starting my 7th year at Donald's and my 14th year in education. This year I will be teaching Reading, Writing, Social Studies and Spelling.

I grew up in Mineral Wells, Texas. I graduated from Midwestern State University with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, went back to school after I had my son and received my teaching certificate, then went back again and got my Masters in Education with an emphasis in conflict resolution from Abilene Christian University. 

I have been married for 21 years, and we have an 18-year-old son who will be attending Shenandoah University in Virginia.  We also have a 15-year-old daughter who plays tennis for Marcus HS. I love my two dogs, Dunder, an Australian Shepherd, and Dipper, a Bernese Mountain Dog. As a family we love to play with the dogs, swim, play golf, tennis and go to the movies and just have fun!
