  I would like to take this opportunity to let you get to know me.  I was born and raised in Highland Village, Texas.  I attended the University of North Texas, where I got my bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Early Childhood through Fourth grade. I am overflowing with fresh, new, and fun ideas that will create a successful learning environment. I have worked in the LISD district for 24 year, 3 years in extended school day, 13 years in kindergarten, and 8 years in 1st grade.

   My husband Chad and I celebrated our 17th year anniversary this summer.  We have three beautiful girls, a 15-year-old named Ashlyn, 14-year-old named Addyson, and a 9-year-old named Ainsley.

When I am not at school, my family and I love watching movies and eating popcorn. We also enjoy going to the beach, swimming, playing outside and hanging out with our family and friends. I love repainting furniture, jewelry making, and making things for our classroom.

 My passion is to help children find their voice and become full of confidence to begin their life long learning career. I will be their biggest cheerleader.
