My name is Jennifer Hastie and I will be starting my 13th year of teaching this year in 1st grade. I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade. I have always loved being a part of my students’ beginning years in elementary school and creating a fun and engaging atmosphere that establishes a life-long love of learning! 

Fun fact: I was a Donald Dolphin starting in first grade! 🐬 I met my husband at Flower Mound High School when we were 16, and we have been together ever since. We now have three beautiful children. My oldest son Ranger is 9 and will be in 4th grade at Donald this year. My daughter Ripley is 6 and will be in 1st grade, and my youngest son, Ridge, is 2 years old! 

I can’t wait to meet my newest batch of dolphins in August and start an amazing school year together!
