Welcome, Panthers! I'm so excited to be a new member of the Parkway family! Elementary school is a great time to get to know your counselor-- we will be with you from Kindergarten through fifth grade, and we are here to help you walk your path, whatever that looks like. Kiddos, you are not alone, and parents, you are not either. LISD loves to partner with families to help their child grow, thrive, and learn. As the school counselor, you can consider me a hub for all kinds of other programs, resources, and departments (both within the district, partners of the district, or out in the local community). If you don't know what we offer, I am happy to let you know and get you to the right person. 

Since I'm new, here is a little about me: I have a husband, a son going into 7th grade who is also in LISD, and three silly dogs. I live out in the sticks and so I also see a lot of wildlife where I am, including rabbits, deer, turkeys, all kinds of beautiful birds, and more! Having taught for so long, I am a typical teacher, motivated by kids, coffee, and comfort! I have taught high school and college, counseled middle schoolers, and am now an elementary counselor! I have master's degrees in English and School Counseling; I am a certified counselor, and I'm also a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A), supervised by Monya Crow, LPC-Supervisor.
