- Serve ALL students in a school and help with personal, social, emotional, and academic growth.

Teach classroom "Life Skills" lessons and facilitate teacher-led lessons aligned with state standards.

Organize school-wide service learning projects and special events as applications of our character education program.

Provide materials on topics related to guidance and counseling standards when requested.

Connect families with school, district, and community resources of many different types.

Counsel individual students, host parent meetings, and facilitate small groups around shared needs like big life changes, newcomers to our school, supplemental social skills.

Identify and meet with students who could use extra care and support from an adult.

Help students become ready to learn every day through the teaching of coping skills.
