Hello! I'm Luz Salinas and this will be my 14th year in education and my 7th year in LISD at Parkway as a Dyslexia Interventionist.  I taught 1st grade and 3rd grade in a Dual Language Two Way setting prior to becoming a dyslexia interventionist. I graduated with a bachelors degree in Radio and Television and worked for a couple of years in radio but soon after realized that teaching is where I was meant to be.  When I'm not at school I love spending time with my husband and 4 year old twin daughters. I love reading and traveling when possible.  I love helping my students achieve their reading goals all while helping them develop a love for reading as well.
