My name is Katlyn Hicks and I am your student's math & science teacher! This is my seventh year teaching here at Parkway. I graduated from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in May 2018 and I am an LISD graduate as well! (Go Fighting Farmers!) Although this is my seventh year teaching at Parkway, I have many Parkway years behind me, because I also attended Parkway as a child! In my free time when I am not teaching, I love being an aunt to my 4 neices, working out, playing golf and being crafty! At home, I have a beautiful (and crazy) Siberian Husky, Maverick.

My mission every day is to provide a classroom environment that is encouraging, uplifting, and fun by building relationships and making connections with my students in order to support lifelong learning.
