Hello! My name is Gabbie Rivera and I'm so excited to be part of the Parkway ES family as the new Art Teacher.  This will be my seventh year working at LISD. I am from Puerto Rico and lived in Australia for 4 years. I studied Anthropology at the University of Puerto Rico. During my middle and high school years, I studied in a specialized Visual Arts School. There, I discovered my passion for Art. I want my students to use their creativity without fear; to feel free and encouraged to express themselves in their own way.  Being a teacher brings me so much joy; being able to build relationships with students, that will last forever, is an incredible experience.
