Hello!  My name is Jaime McKenna and I will be teaching 3rd grade at Donald this year.   This will be my 9th year teaching in LISD.  I love teaching and being able to work with my students each year. 

I was born in New York but moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico when I was young.  I attended the University of New Mexico where I earned both a bachelor's degree and juris doctorate.  My family and I moved to Texas 8 years ago and LOVE this amazing state. I have three children, all who are or have been in LISD.  My son, Mason, will be starting his senior year at the University of Arkansas. My daughter, Issy, is also at the University of Arkansas for her junior year. (WOO PIG!) My youngest daughter, Mia, will be starting her junior year at Flower Mound High School.   

In my spare time, I am busy watching Mia play volleyball for Flower Mound High School, walking my 2 dogs or I can be found getting lost in a book.  I am looking forward to a great year at Donald.
