  • What is the Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA) and why do you have to complete it before taking the TSI?

    All students must complete a Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA) that addresses the following components prior to taking the TSI Assessment

    1. Importance of Assessment
    2. Assessment process and components (including sample questions)
    3. Developmental Education Options
    4. Institutional and Community Resources

    How long does the exam take?

    The TSI assessment is not a timed test. The average time to complete all three sections of the test is three to five hours.

     

    Where can I take the TSI?

    Several colleges and universities offer opportunities to take the exam. Students need to contact the college or university to register.
    Hebron HS will offer the exam at the following times each year; Mid to late March for Seniors and Dual Credit Applicants, and near the end of each semester for College Prep Math Students.

     

    When can I access my scores?

    Students will receive an email immediately after completing the exam.
    Students can also request a printed copy from testing coordinator, Emily Bryson.

     

    Can I retake the TSI?

    Yes. Students can retake all or portions of the exam.
