A specific emphasis of the gifted and talented program at Parkway Elementary is to nurture and foster our students’ entire intellectual, emotional, and gifted potential development. Collaboration between the GT campus committee, classroom teachers, and our parents will ensure that students are intentionally placed and immersed in strategically designed lessons and activities to serve their gifted potential in the context of the educational setting.  

I have had the privilege of working for LISD for the past eleven years. I am a dedicated, passionate, and determined teacher. Education is something that I am completely captivated by and would be nowhere without. I am a lifelong learner committed to embarking my knowledge onto others, with the hopes that I will turn students into lifelong learners as well. My classroom is meant for us all to learn and grow from each other while embracing each student’s individualism and developing into leaders themselves.
