Hello! My name is Kristen Faulk. I am a Spanish teacher at Huffines (Spanish 1 & 2). I have been a Spanish teacher since 2012, but this is my first year at Huffines. I am so excited to be part of the Husky family!

I was born in Louisiana, but I was raised in Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic. I love the Spanish language, along with the culture and people behind it. I also know American Sign Language, Latin, Ancient Greek, and I am learning French. I have traveled a lot and even lived in Spain for a semester during college. I attended McNeese State University (Lake Charles, LA) for undergrad and the University of Dallas for graduate school.

I am an avid LSU fan, and I bleed purple and gold! Geaux Tigers! I have a service dog, Maggie, who is my little side-kick. In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, watching gymnastics, playing beach volleyball, cooking, and spending time with my family.
