Ms. Lisa Rogers

Hello,

I am teaching 6th grade Honors and Academic ELAR this year at Huffines. I have been here since 2006, and I think of Huffines as home. I love my work, and I feel fortunate to have the privilege of working with our Huskies learners. I am an avid reader, and I love discussing books with my students. I also enjoy traveling and spending time with my family in Alabama.

I am the proud mother of two adult children, both of whom attended LISD schools from the time we moved to Texas in 2002 until their graduation. We own two very spoiled dogs, each of whom are rescues. I attended Florida State University for my undergraduate degree in English. I attended TWU in Denton for my Master's degree.
