Hello Huskies!

My name is Steven Kindiger. I started my teaching/coaching career back in 2004 and have been at Huffines since 2020. Before getting into education, I was an Investigator for the Child Protective Services, to where I would follow up on allegations of abuse and neglect. 

I graduated college at Stephen F. Austin State University with a double Bachelors in Speech Communication and Psychology. I also earned my Masters in Mass Communication at SFASU. However, I am a HUGE Texas Christian University supporter and love TCU football and baseball. I grew up next to the TCU campus and have always been an "Honorary Horned Frog".

I have two amazing kids, who are both in school within LISD. We love to camp, hike, ride bikes, play video games, baseball, you name it!  Your students will get to hear a lot of stories about my kids throughout the year within my classroom.
