The Volunteer Spot

By dedicating your time to the school over the course of the school year, you can strengthen the partnership between home and school for your child’s benefit. You can get involved in any way that works for your schedule and interests. The PTA, HVE and your child would love to see you help out in any way. We need your helping hands and smiling faces on our campus to help lighten the load for our teachers and staff giving them more time in the classroom with our students. When everyone contributes, a little bit goes a long way. We appreciate your time and talents at HVE!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

Copy Room Helper: Help make copies for staff. Shifts will occur on specific months/days/times.

Watch D.O.G.S.: WATCH D.O.G.S. is a national innovative program focusing on the positive influence of fathers and father-figures for a two-fold purpose: (1) to be a positive and active role-model for students at their school, and (2) to provide an extra set of eyes and ears. How to get signed up and involved:
• Complete the district background check. Allow for 2-3 weeks for it to be cleared.
• Complete the WatchDog registration form and return to the office.
• SIGN UP here  https://lewisvilleisd.voly.org/for a date.
• Arrive to school at 7:30 on your assigned day – t-shirt will be purchased that morning for $12.
