Hawk Fest Info
Hey, Hey, Hawks!
Last year, we had our first ever HawkFest, a celebration of cultures in and around Hebron High School. This year, we are going virtual. We have a group of student WebDesigners who are creating our interactive website to showcase different cultures and cultural events including the clubs at Hebron. Our feeder pattern schools and the community will have the opportunity to contribute and participate in this virtual celebration.
- Hebron believes that culture is the shared values, beliefs, traditions, and customs of a group of people who teach to and learn from others.
- There are 61 languages spoken by students and families in our Hebron pattern.
Ideas and Ways to Get Involved:
In addition to sharing daily announcements with students the week of April 19 to 23, we will be promoting dress up days!
Monday, April 19 - We love our Hebron community! Wear red!
Tuesday, April 20 - Wear your favorite sports jersey from a sports team around the world!
Wednesday, April 21 - Wise up Wednesday! Wear your favorite college or university shirt from around the world!
Thursday, April 22 - We are better together! Wear your club/organization shirt or twin with a friend
Friday, April 23 - Let’s celebrate our amazing Hawk Heritage!! Wear black, silver and blue or traditional dress reflective of your culture!
Would you or your club or organization like to be a part of HawkFest, but need a few ideas?
