Hello! My name is Joaquin Urby and I've been at Huffines since 2020 as a Science teacher. I graduated with a degree in Psychology from Trinity University and am certified to teach core subjects 4-8.

I currently teach 8th grade on level, Honors, and GT. I love learning and hope to ignite curiosity every single day in my classroom! We will learn about many interesting things this year, including ecology, outer space, physics, chemistry, and much more. I hope you always feel safe enough in my class to take risks academically and ask questions. 

In my free time, I love playing video games, reading books, writing, and spending time with my family.
