Mr. Valencia has been involved with the video game industry since competing in his first tournament at the age of 14. From then on he was hooked, and competed at a high level in many games, and professionally in 3 games. He has earned over $75000 while playing professional video gaming. He has gotten to meet and work with development teams from many different companies. Currently. he has been toning down on video games, and focusing on improving in other aspects. However, he can still compete with the best of the best in several video games. After he finished competing, he moved into the IT world, where he was able to learn a ton of skills and develop a love for the programing side of things. LISD is his first time teaching as a full-time teacher, and I thank them for allowing me to teach Game Programming and Design, which is an all-inclusive field. Everyone has a place here. If you're a good storyteller, you can work on games, coming up with the story lines. If you're a good artist, you can work in the art department, or if you are a computer nerd like me you can work in the programming part of it.
