Chris Carson
Mr. Carson is a licensed architect in the state of Texas and has been practicing architecture since 1996. He has been a project manager in various architectural firms in Texas and Arkansas throughout his career and has been involved with many projects across North Texas including residential, commercial, public sector, and historic preservation.
Mr. Carson holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington. In addition to his architecture license, Mr. Carson is also a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited professional and proponent of sustainable or "green" design. His interests in design and environmental responsibility are incorporated into the architecture courses at Career Center East.
Mr. Carson began teaching the upper level architecture courses at Career Center East in 2011. Beginning in the Fall of 2013, he also started teaching an intensive two credit intro course available to all students in the district. His goal is to inspire students by revealing the exciting and rewarding opportunities within the careers of Architecture, Design, and the Allied Arts.
