Meet the Teacher:

Hello. I am Elizabeth Kruger and I teach animation at Technology Exploration & Career- East. My experience and background is in both Animation and Education. I have 11 years teaching experience, 6 years at TECC-East, 3 years in a middle school setting and 2 in High school.

I consider myself "Forest Gumping" my way through life.
When I reached the high school level, I got tired of telling my students to follow their dreams when I wasn't exactly following my heart at the time.
So, I cashed in my teacher retirement and went back to school to become a Computer Animator.

I completed a Degree in Animation Art and Design. I have worked at Animation Studios DNA Productions and Element X Creative design. You can see my work on Jimmy Neutron: Jimmy Timmy Power Hour and Veggie Tales.Miss the passion that I feel for Animation & Education. I fortunately found a teaching position focused on Animation.  I want to pass that passion and knowledge onto other beginning Animators, as I have had so many wonderful mentors on my Animation journey.

I am committed to growing as an animator and an artist. I am currently enrolled Animation courses to learn new skills and improving prior skills. I am also a member of Bunch of Short Guys, a local animation group.
