WELCOME TO FLOWER MOUND ELEMENTARY GIFTED & TALENTED PROGRAM

At FME, students tested and identified for GT services in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade  receive "pull-out" services one day a week.  "Identified" means that students have gone through the formal testing process and have been placed in the program by a LISD district-level committee.  Those students are also placed with a group of other identified GT students in a "cluster teacher's" regular education classroom each year. Cluster teachers are given 6 hours of professional training each year in the area of gifted education.
