September Guidance

  • September Guidance

I am so excited to be back and to have the opportunity to work with each Bridlewood Bronco during classroom guidance.  This month we are looking at how to be respectful learners.  We are learning tips to be good listeners, focus our attention, and be respectful in the classroom.  We are mastering these skills, so we can get the most out of each lesson taught in the classroom!  In order to focus our attention and be good listeners, we need to use our eyes, ears, and brains all while we have quiet voices and still bodies.

I LOVE Boys Town Social Skills.  They are simple, direct, and effective!  Check out this article on listening.  It is geared towards grandparenting, but I can easily see the application as a parent and educator.
