Liberty Student Council
The Liberty Elementary School Student Council is a campus wide organization open to any enrolled fourth and fifth grade student at Liberty Elementary School. Membership is determined through an application process conducted in the spring of each school year for the following school year.
The Student Council holds one meeting each month after school as a group throughout the school year. There are projects to participate in, as well as special events, activities, and committee meetings. Student Council members are considered to be the leaders and role models of Liberty Elementary School, dedicating themselves to school pride and service.
Advisors are Tim Greenwell, Laura Traynor, Kim Cox, and Elizabeth Banda. Scheduled full council monthly meetings and events in the cafeteria from 3:00pm to 4:00pm include: September 15, October 20, November 17, January 26, February 16, March 23, and April 20. Three additional events include the work day Tuesday, August 4 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, appreciation event Tuesday, December 15 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm, and awards ceremony Tuesday, May 24 from 2:00pm-3:00pm.
