Liberty Student Council
The Liberty Elementary School Student Council is a campus wide organization open to any enrolled fourth and fifth grade student at Liberty Elementary School. Membership is determined through an application process conducted in the spring of each school year for the following school year.
The Student Council holds one meeting each month after school as a group throughout the school year. There are projects to participate in, as well as special events, activities, and committee meetings. Student Council members are considered to be the leaders and role models of Liberty Elementary School, dedicating themselves to school pride and service.
Advisors are Tim Greenwell, Darlene Lineberger, Dana Richter, and Laura Traynor. Scheduled full council monthly meetings and events in the cafeteria from 3:00pm to 4:00pm include: September 17, October 15, November 19, January 21, February 18, March 24, and April 21. Three additional events include the work day Monday, August 5 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, appreciation event Tuesday, December 17 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm, and awards ceremony Tuesday, May 19 from 2:00pm-3:00pm.
